Biology lecturer promotes field

With a passion for teaching science and love of sharing knowledge, Susan Reigler, visiting lecturer in biology, has a goal to create a new type of enthusiasm for her students with regard to biology and its effects on society.

IUS graduate gone, not forgotten

James Thomas Falls died Nov. 9 at 56 years old, but the IUS graduate and former editor of The Horizon is remembered throughout campus, and is known for his perseverance.

ROTC program to start on campus

The Metroversity Reserve Officer Training Corps program, offered by the University of Louisville, will have courses on the IUS campus starting next year.

Retention rate report released

The report for the fall 2007 cohort showed that overall retention of students pursuing second year studies at IU Southeast was 60.5 percent. This percentage is down by 1.8 percent from the fall 2006 report.

Psychologist has passion for teaching

Robin K. Morgan, professor of psychology, has worked at IU Southeast for 20 years, and never thought teaching would be what she is doing today 20 years ago.

New $8,200 mascot unveiled

Pat Mrozowski, athletic director, said the plan for the new mascot had been in discussion since spring ’07.
